Memozora immediately stands out with a clean, well-designed website: An online flashcard maker powered by the science of spaced repetition. Create your own flashcards, and Memozora will plan the optimal quiz schedules based on your performance. Featuring multi-language dictionaries, various quiz formats, etc.
That sounds exactly like what we need. Will it deliver? Or will it lack a little bit of juice?
It has a Plus version for $3 per month. The free version includes all features but limits the amount of learning.
It looks like this app started in 2024—nice and modern. There are no native apps, but the web app covers everything.
- Create your own word list
★ One free if successful - YES
★ Easy to start creating - YES
★ Easy to make a long list - NO
★ Easy to use with keyboard only - NO
★ Automatic translations - HALF - one way only
Okay, starting a new list. I can't find any keyboard shortcuts. The input placeholders are mixed up in languages. If I enter English in the foreign language field, automatic translations work. They are a bit slow but provide a small, useful context sentence as a bonus.
Ah, now I see—I had the languages mixed up. I create a new list with the languages in the correct order. Now the only downside is that automatic translation works only one way (foreign word to native language). Why not both ways?

- Select an existing list + AI
★ Easy to select, find options - NO
★ Select a decent list - NO
★ Have more options to choose from - NO
★ Generate a list using AI - NO
★ Take over a list from an image - NO
There are some default lists to easily test the app. I’ll still give one point because there are plenty of other places online to get lists.
Score: 20
- Learn this list. Error hard on the first three. Error a bit on the next two. Make the last two perfect.
★ I can learn - YES
★ I have multiple options to answer - YES (flashcards, write the words down), BUT: this is a list setting. You have to change this to switch methods.
★ The errors are repeated until answered correctly - YES
★ There is a prompt to rehearse again in time - YES - An email can be sent to you, but notifications are missing.
★ After the right period of time, the questions are asked again - YES
Okay, a bit annoying: The context sentence is shown after rehearsal. This slows things down. Also, when writing down an answer, you don’t see the question anymore—not smart, especially when learning sentences.
When using flashcards, it’s unclear how the keyboard shortcuts work. Because of this, one point is subtracted.

- Easy to use rating
★ Modern app, looks smooth - YES
★ Good-looking, nice colors/logo or something - BIT - Very clean design, but no cool logo or visual flair.
★ Easy to start, no hiccups - YES
★★ Easy to do the actions above - NO - No proper keyboard support. Navigation often feels illogical.

- Try to share, import, and export a list
★ Share one list easily - NO
★ Share all your lists easily - NO
★ Export your list in an understandable format - YES
★ Import a list from an easy-to-create format - YES - But not under ‘Create new list’; it's hidden under an edit action within an existing list.
★ Export all your lists at once - NO
No sharing in this app. 😐

- Special features
Nothing special. Too basic to even be good at the basics.
Score: 0
- Gaming elements
There is a ‘Weekly Report’ and some progress indicators. I’ll give one star to be nice.
Score: 20
- Pros
No ads. Very basic flashcard app. If improved, it could be a nice one.
Score: 20
- Cons
★ Too basic. Maybe missing features?
★ No AI, no default decks.
★ No gaming elements to encourage learning.
★ Navigation is not good enough. It’s only “easy” because it’s a basic app.
★ No outstanding features.

- Price
Plus for $2 per month with a yearly subscription. The free version allows only 15 cards per day. The price is low, but I don’t like the price/quality ratio.

Final Verdict
Memozora was a nice attempt to create a basic app. But if you make an app and want people to use it, you need to use it yourself for a long time and test everything. Every small annoyance should be eliminated. Users should have an easy way to provide feedback. And for every single piece of feedback, the app should improve.
This clearly hasn’t happened. Please don’t waste your time on this app—better alternatives are waiting for you.
